ADMISSION POLICY
Admission into the COLLEGE is open to all categories of persons depending on their training needs.
Our training program are mostly targeted towards young persons and career learners seeking to acquire specific skills to switch Jobs or be able to meet the technological changes/development in their trade area. Hence the training program provide participants with practical knowledge and skills that enhance their service delivery in their respective field of endeavor.
MODE OF ADMISSION
- The institute invites applications from suitable candidates for the normal (Full-time) training program in August to October each year for its academic year (beginning January to December) each year.
- Applications are also invited from suitably qualified candidate for its part-time training programme in December and July for March and September examination Series respect
ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
Admission is generally open to Ghanaian citizens residing in Ghana as well as Foreigners equally residing in Ghana. Entry into the institute is generally open to person with any of the under listed qualifications.
Admission requirements for full-time programmes (regular trainees)
- Senior High School Certificate
- Evidence of at least two years Senior High School (SHS) education.
- Middle School Leaving Certificate (MLSC)
- Junior High School Certificate
- Diploma/Degree etc.(short course in specific skill)
- SHS Applicants
Applicants who have evidence of SHS education (i.e. SSCE/WASSCE passes in any subjects, including English Language and Mathematics).
- Technical school Applicants
BECE plus evidence at least two year technical education/training in relevant trade area.
- BECE Applicants
Applicants who have completed JHS and have passed the BECE subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR PART-TIME PROGRAMMES (INPLANT TRAINING)
Learners with proven level of skill wishing to acquire proficiency certificate in their respective trades.
Skill enhancement training program (3-months, 6-months & 12-months short courses)
- Degree/HND/Other Diploma holders wishes to acquire a specific skill to enhance their employability.
- Workers desirous of upgrading their skills on some specific skill.
- Informal applicants must be
- 18 years old and show some level of ability to read and write.
- Have at least two (2) years of apprenticeship training from a registered Master Craftsman.
Obtained a pass in a written examination/interview conducted by institute.
